Siesta Scripture Memory Verse

Welcome, it is time for another Siesta Scripture Memory Verse! Last week I chose Ecclesiastes 3:11 "He has made everything beautiful it its time. he ahs also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end." As I was read "Where Is God?" by Dr. John Townsend, this verse jumped off the page and I knew I was suppose to memorize it. You see, I have been struggling lately...well actually I guess it has been a little longer than that ~ about 3 years. It seems like God has up and left us as we wallow around in our trials and struggles but deep down I know he hasn't. I am really trying to trust him and believe the promises he has given. And as the verse says ~ I do not know what God has done ~ or what he is doing right now in our lives. I must choose to trust and wait for him to reveal to us what his will is for our lives.

This week my memory verse is from Psalm 13 verses 5&6: "But I will trust in your unfailing love, my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the LORD for his has been good to me." (emphasis mine).

Grace and peace,
